Bridget a ‘Beckett
A piano player, violinist and singer, Bridget a’Beckett’s music is indie pop with a classical touch. As a performer she is intimate, honest and captivating to watch. As a musician she writes songs that you want to hear over and over again.
Born in the country and educated in the city, Bridget’s musical career has been an interesting one. Working as a Berlin prostitute for a year in the Australian production of Cabaret she performed alongside Todd McKenny, Tina Arena and Nadine Garner. As a finalist in the ‘Song for the Socceroos’ Song Competition on SBS she had an interesting and dramatic encounter with Dicko, and now as a singer/songwriter she is living small adventures every day that come out in her music and in her easy banter between songs. She is currently touring Europe and America, back in Oct 2008.
